Hey there! Let me tell you about the story of Jenn and Phillip.
I met this fantastic family back in 2022 through a moms Facebook group. They had just moved here from out of state and were renting, but they knew they wanted to find a place they could truly call their own.
Phillip had just graduated and they had a growing family. They'd initially bought the townhouse with another agent recommended by Jenn's dad, but it didn't quite fit their long-term plans.
Come December 2023, they decided it was time to make a move. We chatted in March about pricing and how to stage the place to attract buyers. At first, they weren't in a rush, but then they decided to go for it in early June. They had a big family reunion coming up in August and wanted a new place to host—it was crunch time!
We listed the place, and within just a week we had a full-price offer. But here's the kicker: during the process, the buyer's student loans popped up unexpectedly, throwing a bit of a curveball. We had to get creative with financing, switching lenders and all, to make sure we could close on time. Luckily, everyone pulled together, and we managed to close both their sale and their purchase without a hitch.
They did some smart upgrades—new flooring downstairs, staged it just right—and we marketed it like crazy. Social media, my network of agents, open houses—you name it, we did it. It was all hands on deck to get this done, and I'm thrilled it worked out so well for them. Check out the video below!
